There are no specific requirements for applicants wishing to attend a Kingdom Fitness Training Course for personal interest only and who do not require a formal qualification or for applicants wishing to attend an RSPH course or the First Aid course.

For applicants wishing to gain the Teaching Evidence Based Exercise and the Life Enrichment Facilitator Diplomas the following will normally be required:

u     applicants must be over the age of 18 years, there is no upper age limit

u     applicants must be working with or planning to work with older people

u     a satisfactory character reference and CRB check

u     as the course requires some physical exertion a reasonable degree of physical fitness is required, but students do not need to be 'super fit' or to have 'perfect bodies'.  Students will find that as the course progresses their physical fitness will improve - one of the many benefits of attending!

u     applicants must be prepared to take part in all practical workshops

u     applicants should have good interpersonal and communication skills

u     applicants must be prepared to engage in additional private study as required to ensure a good understanding of each topic

u     previous relevant experience and qualifications will be taken into consideration

Requirements for applicants wishing to attend the externally set and assessed courses will be found on the relevant pages.
