In addition to our own Royal College of Nursing accredited qualifications Kingdom Fitness Training is a registered training centre for Royal Society for Public Health qualifications.

Our RCN accredited qualifications :

u     Diploma in Teaching Evidence Based Exercise to Older People

u     This is ideal for registered nurses, healthcare support workers and other caring people who are already working with older people and who wish to add a new and worthwhile aspect to their work.

u     It is ideal for registered nurses, healthcare support workers and other caring people who find themselves out of work, or taking time out to raise a family, but who wish to find employment / self employment which is related to healthcare and which has ‘family friendly hours’.

u     It is suitable for exercise instructors and for staff of existing community based groups which already provide a luncheon club and other stimulating activities and opportunities, but would like to add to their service by providing safe and simple evidence based exercise advice and guidance to those who attend.

u     It is also suitable for anyone who wishes to help an older person to improve & maintain their health, strength and quality of life and anyone wanting to know how to safely maintain their own health, strength, mobility and independence without the expense of joining a leisure centre or club.

u     Life Enrichment Facilitator for Older People Diploma

u     This is ideal for Churches and other community based groups wishing to provide a much needed service for older people which will help to meet the needs of the whole person.  

u     It is also suitable for day centre staff, rest home activity leaders and staff working in existing community based groups which provide coffee mornings but would like to offer a wider variety of worthwhile activities and opportunities. 

u    Certificate in First Aid & Emergency Life Support

u     This is embedded into both diplomas when required.

However, the course is suitable for all people in all situations and applications for this unit alone are welcomed.   There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

Royal Society for Public Health qualifications:

u    Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

u    Level 2 Award in Healthier Food & Special Diets

u    Level 2 Award in Health Promotion

u    Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Work Place

u     These are externally set and assessed courses which are embedded into the Life Enrichment Diploma.
