Diane is a Registered General Nurse, Extend Teacher & Specialist Exercise Instructor.   She has been teaching evidence based exercise sessions to older people in the community for 10 years, including Phase lV Cardiac Rehabilitation, Falls Prevention, Circuit Training, Exercise to Music and Extend movement to music sessions.

In addition to her nursing and exercise instructor qualifications Diane has a BA in Education & Training and a Certificate in Education and has worked as a tutor for Poole Adult Learning since 2003.   In 2006, as a result of an excellent report following an ALI/OFSTED inspection, Diane was invited to join the Tutor Observation Team.

Diane is a member of the Royal College of Nursing, the Register of Exercise Professionals and the Institute for Learning and is the founder of the 'Younger for Longer' © exercise programme in Wimborne, Dorset which includes a range of additional exciting and stimulating activities and opportunities.

Diane is married to Jim, has two adult sons, David and Samuel, and is an active member of Citygate Church Bournemouth where she leads the first aid team, is part of the audio-visuals team and cooks for the young people at the annual New Frontiers youth camp 'Newday'.

 

Kate is a Registered Dietitian with specialist knowledge in the field of diet and nutrition. Kate has worked in both hospital and community NHS environments with experience in providing evidence-based dietary management for a range of health issues, including those relevant to older people. Additionally, Kate has a post-graduate certificate in Sports and Exercise Nutrition.

Kate is registered to practice as a Dietitian with the Health Professions Council, and is a member of the British Dietetic Association and Sports Dietitians UK.
