Final Assessments:
There are no final
assessments for
applicants wishing to attend for personal interest only and who do
not require a formal qualification.
Students
requiring a formal qualification will be required to pass
the following assessments:
At the end of Part 1:
u
preparation of a 1 hour
seated exercise session for less
active and able older people which
includes exercises to prevent falls and injuries
u
teaching part of the prepared session
u
multiple
choice question paper
At the end of Part 2:
u
preparation of a 1 hour exercise
to music / circuit training session which is suitable for Phase lV Cardiac
Rehabilitation

teaching part
of the prepared session
